Our Welcoming!
This is a few weeks old, but the kids worked hard on this nice welcoming sign, so I didn't want to leave it out of our memories :)

Seamus Update
Seamus is 11 days old today and doing great! He is soooo loved, and always has a sibling waiting to hold him when I am willing to pass him over :) He is sleeping and eating well and starting to show us his little personality. Moira even caught a little grin on camera as you can see in the third picture.
He has big eyes...or as my kids say, a perpetual surprised look, which reminds them of pictures of cousin Owen :) There's so much to take in...he doesn't want to miss a thing!

"Mee-Mee"
Erin certainly has had quite a fun time handing over the "Thrown of the Youngest". No, I'm not exaggerating, she really can't get enough of Seamus and has no inclination for him to go back to wherever it was that he came from. She says his name, "Mee-Mee" and can't contain her excitement when she gets to hold him, sing to him or help with all the baby activities.
She is a wonderful big sister!

The Name "Seamus"
Seamus is pronounced "Shay-mus" and is Irish for James. For some history of the name: James is English for the Latin name Jacomus, which is a Latin form of the Hebrew name Jacob.
Seamus was named with St. James the Less in mind, one of the Apostles, and also Great Grandpa Delaney whose first name was James.

Still No Baby
The time is 5:37pm and 'He' is still in his comfy and cozy home of nine months. My mom was induced at about 9 this morning. Hopefully the birth will be soon. Please keep praying. :)
Here at home we have both sets of grandparents, Uncle Pat and 'The Cousins' in addition to all of us. The house is filled with us crazies trying to entertain ourselves while in totally and utter anticipation. I have a speaker-phone setup in our family-room ready for the moment of The Call. Whenever the phone rings the house turns into an erupting volcano of people running from all over the house to the family-room.
